Tucked away in the Seattle neighborhood of Mapleleaf, The Reservoir (or the Rez to locals) has been a fixture of this quiet North Seattle hood for years. Okay, this wasn’t taken in North Seattle, but close by 2 hrs north up in Vancouver B.C. during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Seeing all the athletes was incredible and the energy in the air was amazing. It was a very inspirational and memorable experience.

Woodland Park’s Off Leash Area is very popular for resident canines. It is a two-acre sloped area with benches and a doggie drinking fountain. It’s located west of the tennis courts at Lower Woodland Park.
