The Fremont Bridge is a double-leaf bascule bridge that connects Fremont and 4th Avenues N. It opens for boats going through the locks to the sound or heading through to Lake Union and Lake Washington.
Gas Works Park has a play area with a large play barn, and a big hill popular for flying kites. Special park features include a sundial, and a beautiful view of Seattle.
Located at N. 34th St. and Fremont Ave. N. this Fremont Statue was made by William Byers. This piece of art slows down traffic as it’s always dressed up for birthdays, holidays, football games, or just for the fun of it.
